Where We Fit

We are a privately held utility company developing and operating solar and wind power generation facilities producing 5 megawatts to 50 megawatts of AC power.  LightBeam’s customers are entities buying large amounts of electricity on the wholesale market. Our decision to position LightBeam Energy in this range of power production is the result of several years of research and analysis supported by the efforts of some of the most talented people in energy, technology and finance.

Our operating companies are called LightBeam Power Company LLC.  We append the name of our project site locations to the LightBeam Power Company LLC name in order to separate and identify the unique technology (solar or wind), management and financial structure of each one.

LightBeam's development activities today are focused on numerous sites in California, Oregon and Nevada.  Some of these sites are on raw land and land traditionally used for agricultural purposes.  Other LightBeam project sites are located on land previously used for commercial and industrial purposes.  Our company's development pipeline continues to grow as we elevate our reputation for working at the highest standards in our industry.

Our approach to meeting the growing needs of the renewable energy market in the United States centers on taking a realistic view of what is possible now. With the implementation of more and more renewable assets we will revise our approach to meet the expectations and needs of our market.  You will find we are at our best when we’re challenged by high expectations to produce innovative answers that make a difference to our customers now and in the future.
